Pre-Listings:
Advertising for our Machinery Consignment Sales must be done ONE month prior to the sale date. We highly recommend that your items are advertised. It greatly increases the exposure your item will receive. Please contact our office at (403) 843-2747 to list your item.
Miscellaneous:
We ask that you bring them with a pallet (preferably loaded on the pallet for ease of unloading). If you do not have access to one, we do have a limited supply at the sale site. We do sell by the pallet, so all Miscellaneous items are sold as a group (we no longer sell Miscellaneous by the “handful”).
We do reserve the right to deny some items (fuel tanks, windows, household…etc.). Our office and yard staff has the right to refuse any item at their discretion
TIPS FOR CONSIGNERS:
1
A clean, well maintained piece of equipment sells best. In order to achieve the best dollar for your item we recommend that it is consigned clean and detailed.
We offer steam cleaning services and detailing services for an additional fee.
2
We recommend good batteries, as often an item is started several times. If the equipment fails to start, it reflects poorly on the item. While we do provide options for boosting when our yard personnel are available, it is still in the best interest of the consignor to have a good battery in the item.
3
When consigning your equipment, please provide the office staff a list of the items, including the year, make, model, serial number and mileage. The office staff will ask any additional questions. You are more than welcome to provide any additional information. The description that you give the office staff is how your item will be listed. Failure to provide the correct description may result in a decreased price.
4
It is the consignor’s responsibility to make the office staff aware of any latent defects, mechanical defects, write offs or out of province registrations. Changes in odometer or hour meters must also be declared. Failure to disclose this information may result in the cancellation of the sale.
5
All liens and encumbrances must be declared. In addition we will do searches and CPIC searches.
6
Items are left in our yard at the consignor’s risk. We HIGHLY recommend that you maintain insurance on all items that are consigned with us until after the item is sold.
